THE KINGPIN SOVEREIGN CENTERPIN REEL

The Kingpin Sovereign is kingpin's "big boy" at 4 7/8" diameter, or 5" as more comonly known riverside. This beauty is designed, machined and hand-assembled in the United Kingdom by K & W Engineering, a high-precision military machinning contractor with tight tolerances and flawless quality every steelheader will appreciate! The Kingpin reel offers exceptional balance via a dual stainless steel German made marine grade abec 7 roller bearing for a low-torque-smooth & quiet spin. Kingpins have a unique radial-positioned clicker lever. which is easily engaged for rigging and rigid enough to hold firm during transport at riverside. The sovereign comes fully ported (additional porting in the base and inner wall of spool where the line rests) this promotes extra-lightness when handling the reel. A solid back plate deters debris and grit interference while handling the reel in the harsh elements. All Kingpin models are backed by a three-year parts warranty.
